Special Collections, Ellis Library Sanborn Maps for Missouri Columbia, Missouri December 1914 #14
Although the Library had not yet been built, this 1914 map shows its future location and outline. The houses that were formerly there have been razed and the block cleared, but houses still remain between the library and Hitt Street and the library and 9th street. Lowry Hall is the blue building at the bottom. The pink building to the right of it was the Missouri Store, a student book and supply store.
