Ebscohost is a company that we buy many databases from. So Academic Search Complete, PSYCHinfo, Agricola - these are all databases that we buy from the same company. That means you can add things to EndNote the same way. You can tell that a database is an Ebscohost database if it has the Ebscohost logo in the top left.
- Search normally.
- Click the blue folder icon that is to the right of each reference you want to save.
- Select the folder option in the bar at the top of the screen,
- In the Folder, select the items you want to export into EndNote by checking the box to the left of each item (or choosing Select All).
- Select the Export icon (the piece of paper with green arrow along the left side).
- Make sure "Direct Export to EndNote to EndNote, ProCite, or Reference Manager" is selected. Then click Save.
- Select "Open." Depending on your browser, this may look different, but you will want to choose to "open" with EndNote or with ResearchSoft Direct Export Helper.
- Your results will open in EndNote and be saved in your EndNote library.
