Edit a Citation

Editing and Deleting Citations

There are two ways to edit a citation:

Method One:

Simply right-click the in-text citation, choose “edit citation(s)” and choose from some of the more common edits. (To see a full list of your options for editing a citation, you can choose the “more” option.)

Method Two:

Or you can click the “Edit & Manage Citation(s)” button (Alt+6).

From this screen, you can highlight a reference. Using the pull-down “formatting” menu, you can choose from some of the more common ways to edit a citation. At the bottom, you can add page numbers, a prefix (e.g “see also”), or a suffix (e.g. “p.4). To delete a citation, choose “remove citation” in the pull down menu to the right of the citation.
