Searching Social Data

  1. What topics are trending on social media right now?
  2. Find tweets by and photos of @mujschool for the past 6 months.
  3. Use Google Ngram Viewer to search the intersection of these words:  newspaper, radio, television, media.
  4. Use Google maps to find the most efficient way to travel to 30 Rockefeller Center, New York, NY from your current location.

Suggested Activity:

  1. Using multiple resources, search across social media using multiple sources to follow the conversations about the University of Missouri.
  • Follow the volume and type of activity, including shares.
  • Assess the sentiment over multiple time periods to identify change or fluctuations.
  • Within the last 30 days, what was the day with the highest social media activity?
