Integrating Library Content in Canvas

This is a comprehensive guide to help instructors and librarians provide the best resources for students via Canvas.

Create a short permanent URL to a specific article:

  1. Use Findit@MU to locate the full-text of a specific article.
  2. On the left side of the top banner click on FindIt@MU for more options
  3. Select Create a Short URL in the Special Services section.
  4. Select the automatically created short URL or create your own.
  5. Copy and paste the URL into Canvas.

Step 3: Select Create a Short URL in the Special Services section.
