To find fiction in Ellis Library...

Most fiction books are found in 2 EAST.

Use this guide to determine the location of your call number.

If you want to browse...

To browse fiction in MERLIN,

      -select the "Subjects" tab  

      -search by Genre/Form Term: "Fiction"

     -sort the search using the "Limit/Sort Search" at the top of the page


     -At the very bottom, you can change "Words in the AUTHOR" to match your searching needs

To browse within Ellis:

You can go up and browse the 2 East stacks to find fiction books too.

-American authors from 19th century to present: PS991-3626

-English authors from 19th century to present: PR3991-6126

-American fiction: PS370-380

-English fiction: PR821-890

-American women authors: PS147-152

-English women authors: PR111-116

*These ranges only contain some of the fiction works the library holds, but provide a good starting point.
