The Columbia Public Library has an extensive DVD collection of movies and TV shows as well as streaming services. Go to their website to browse and to get a library card
Students can rent movies for $1.50 the first day and $.99 each day after from the DVDNow kiosk located on the west end of the Student Center.
The Internet Archive, Blinkx, Hulu, Crackle, Popcorn Flix, and YouTube all have free video footage for your enjoyment.
You can browse DVDs at the south side of the Reference stacks on the first floor of Ellis, or you can search for a specific film from the catalog.
Or, you can look at a list of mainstream films found in Ellis Library.
Any of the computers in Ellis are capable of viewing DVDs with a DVD player available for checkout from the Checkout and Information Desk on the first floor.
Naxos Video Library provides online video of classical music, ballet, opera, live performances, and documentaries.
*Most DVD's can be checked out for one week.
Note: Films located in the Law Library can only be checked out by Law students.
