Fun Stuff!

You knew the library was the place to go when you had a research project, but did you know there is a collection of comic books on the fourth floor?

Or humor books?

Or recent, popular movies?

If you have ever wondered where the library keeps all the fun stuff then this is the page for you. To find out more about what the library has to offer, click around on the tabs at the top of the page.

Helpful Guides for Browsing...

MU Libraries shelves books using the Library of Congress call number system. In this system each subject area is represented by a letter. Check the Library of Congress Classification guide for more details.

If you find a call number that seems interesting, use the book location guide to find it within Ellis Library.

And as always, MERLIN gives exact call numbers for specific books.

Virtual Tour

Does the library seem a bit confusing? Take the virtual tour to get familiar with Ellis Library.

Just want to browse...

Everything that is categorized as literature can be found in P call numbers. Those numbers can be found in Ellis Library's 2A WEST, 2 EAST, and 3 CENTRAL.  These locations can be seen in the orange areas in the map below.
