Food Science 8402: Library Problem Assignment

MOBIUS searches the collections of academic and public libraries across Missouri and other states. Only request a book from MOBIUS if it is not available in the UM Libraries catalog (Discover@MU). These books typically have a 30-day checkout period and are managed through your MOBIUS account.

Prospector is a unified catalog of academic, public and special libraries in Colorado and Wyoming. Through Prospector you have access to 30 million books, journals, DVDs, CDs, videos and other materials held in these libraries. With a single search you can identify and borrow materials from the collections and have them delivered to your local library.

If a book or article is not available by a UM or MOBIUS library, you can request it through interlibrary loan (ILL@MU). The MU Libraries will find a library that owns the item and borrow it for you. This service is free.
Use your MU username and password to log in to the ILL portal, and click "New Request" at the top. You will receive an email when the item is available (typically within 24-48 hours).
