Common responsibilities of fraternity/sorority treasurers could include:

  • Creating and maintaining the chapter budget
  • Managing member dues, fees, and fines
  • Oversee budgets of other positions

Common responsibilities of fraternity/sorority public relation officers could include:

  • Managing chapter social media
  • Advertising chapter events
  • Acting as a spokesperson of the chapter to the media

Common responsibilities of fraternity/sorority historians could include:

  • Managing chapter history
  • Preserving chapter photos and traditions
  • Arranging chapter composites

Basic tips for the preservation of old photographs:

  • Store in a cool, dry, and dark location
  • Do not touch the surfaces of photographs to avoid stains and smudges
  • Group together photographs of same size and type within folders or envelopes in boxes
  • Use non-acidic materials while storing
  • Consider digitizing photos in your collection
