The Scottish Parliament

The old parliament, or Parliament of Scotland, was the national legislature of Scotland before Scotland merged with Great Britain.  It met until 1707, then its parliament merged with Great Britain's Parliament.  The papers produced in this parliament were merged with the British Parliamentary Papers retroactively.

The current Scottish Parliament was established in 1998 and initially met in 1999.
