How to find books

Retrieve from shelf service

• Request an item be retrieved from the shelf of a campus library and held for pickup at one of the following locations within 1-3 business days.
  • Ellis Library Circulation Desk (also know as Checkout & Information),
  • 24/7 pickup lockers 
  • campus library
• Service hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday (no University holidays).
  • You will be notified via email when the item is ready to be picked up.
  • Items will be held for 1 week.
• HOW: Locate the item in Discover@MU.  Click on and select location for pickup. 
• You will receive an email when the item is ready for you to check out.
