Where do I find the circulation status codes?

The circulation status codes will display in your Discover@MU search results below the light gray bar.

Circulation status codes

Status Code Meaning
Aged to lost The item was borrowed by a patron who did not return it. After 26 days, the item is marked as aged to lost.  Once the item goes to aged to lost status it cannot be renewed.  You must bring it back to the library for staff to check in.  
Available       

the item is ready for circulation

Awaiting pickup The item iss requested and is now at the pickup location, waiting for the requester to borrow the item.
Checked out

Item on loan to a patron.

If a book you want is currently checked out, you can learn how request the book from:

a MOBIUS library

Interlibrary Loan (ILL@MU)

Or place a hold on that copy of the book if not available elsewhere

In process 

The item has been received at the library, but is not yet ready to circulate.

If you need the book as soon as possible, you can place a RUSH request for the book at the Ellis Library Circulation Desk or any branch circulation desk. You may also send an email to request rush cataloging

In transit

Item is being transferred between libraries.

Long missing

The item is not on loan to a patron and cannot be found.

On order The item has been ordered, but has not been received.
Paged The item had a status of Available and was then requested by a patron; the request process changes the item status to Paged.
Unavailable the item is not available to patrons.
