Note: Throughout this guide, several terms may seem unfamiliar.  Indochina is made up of the modern-day countries of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Multiple sources refer to refugees from these places as "Indochinese refugees," yet this guide places them individually in their separate countries.
