Find scores using Discover@MU

Discover@MU includes musical scores. Search a composer's name (surname first!) as an author.

Examples: León, Tania        Saariaho, Kaija        Britten, Benjamin     

Then use the Source Type drop down to filter by format - Music Scores.

*Note: you may find listings for online scores that are licensed by UMKC. Unfortunately the vendors don't allow us to share online resources as we share print resources. To exclude these from your search add NOT ("Streaming audio" OR "Electronic audio file") to your search. See an example.  

UMKC

You will discover that the UMKC Music Library has a larger score collection than Ellis Library. Accessing UMKC scores is not difficult nor time-consuming. Review how to access materials from other UM campus libraries here:

  • Screenshots are also not permitted due to copyright. If you attempt to screenshot within the app, it will lock you out.
