Q: How do I add Google Scholar Button to my web browser?
A: Google Scholar Button is available for Chrome and Firefox.

  • If you are using Chrome, add the extension from this link.
  • If you are using Firefox, add the plug-in with this link.

Q: What are the primary functions and features of Google Scholar Button?
A: Google Scholar Button has four primary features for the literature search (watch the video tutorial to see examples). You can:

  • Highlight the article title to search Google Scholar
  • Pick up article detail on a journal article page or any well-formatted pages related a specific journal article
  • Format and export citations
  • Save articles to view later

Q: Why doesn't the PDF full-text link show up even after I add the Google Scholar Button?
