Equipment Use

Equipment checks out at the Ellis Library circulation desk and most campus libraries by current faculty, staff, and students.
Most items are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Certain equipment is only available for use within the library .
- Certain equipment only checks out to majors of that library's school . For example, some cameras available at the Journalism Library check out to journalism majors only.
To check the availability of the equipment, select the library locations highlighted in blue font. Additional information about individual items can be found through the button.
Online renewals are not permitted. Equipment must be brought back to the circulation desk of the lending library. Due date extensions or recheck outs may be allowed at the discretion of the staff.
There is a two dollar fine for every hour an item is late. Borrowers will be charged the cost of replacement or repair for lost or damaged equipment.
