  • At the list of results and in the left margin, scroll to "Filter to" and choose "UM Books."
  • At the next screen, scroll down to "Filter by Format" and choose "ebooks."

For more information, visit the Ebooks guide.

Finding Specific Books

If you already know what book you want, use the Discover@MU search box on the library homepage.  Be sure to put the title in quotation marks.

Finding Books

From the Mizzou Libraries home page, use the Discover@MU box to search.

  • The results may include books owned by the other UM campuses (UMSL, UMKC, MS&T).  You can request both our books and books from those campuses by clicking on the "Place Request" link.
  • The MOBIUS catalog contains records of books owned by a variety of libraries throughout Missouri. You can request books from these libraries by using your MU username and password.

You may only request items owned by other UM or MOBIUS libraries when:

  • We don't own a copy of the book
  • Our copy is checked out, missing or otherwise unavailable

If either UM or MOBIUS does not have the book you are looking for, then you can request a copy through Interlibrary Loan. Access the ILL form by using your myZou username and password.
