Google Book Search

Renew Books

Use  "My Library Account" on the library homepage.

Already know what book you're looking for?

The Find a Specific Book lookup, linked from the library home page (in the gold bar below the icons) will search MU Libraries, then if the book isn't there, all MU campus libraries, then all MOBIUS libraries.  If the book is unavailable in any of these other places you'll be prompted to fill out an interlibrary loan form.

Requesting Books for Purchase by Ellis Library

Due to stagnant library budgets in an environment of constant inflation, the library does not acquire books automatically in the way it has in years past. However, your librarian still has a book budget, and if there are books you need for your work, you are encouraged to use the Purchase Recommendation Form to make a request.

In general, we are likeliest to purchase a book if it is not already widely held in the libraries belonging to the MOBIUS consortium of Missouri libraries (see catalog links at right), but if a book is important, we will.purchase it even if there is such duplication.
