The motto of persons with disabilities (myself included) is, "Nothing about us without us." People with disabilities are becoming more and more common within the work environment, and also speaking out more frequently about their experiences within society as a whole. This guide exists to help journalists without disabilities navigate the complex situations that may or may not come with interviewing a person with a disability. This guide also provides links to testimonies and work by journalists with disabilities so that persons with disabilities hoping to become journalists can see the work and navigate their own situations.
