University of Missouri Libraries – Remote Services & Resources

Remote Resources for University of Missouri Libraries Users

Get Online Help 24/7

Last minute citation question? Want help with research? Need to reach us from off campus? Ask the librarians! You can email us or chat with a librarian from the convenience of your home.   Chat is available 24/7, except overnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

Getting Materials You Need & Interlibrary Loan

Many library materials are available to you even if you can't make it to campus to pick up physical items. Use Discover@MU or specific databases to find online resources.  We have hundreds of databases that provide access to journal articles, e-books, video, and more!

Interlibrary Loan:  We will continue to process requests that can be acquired and delivered electronically. This service is available for current MU students, faculty and staff only. Learn more about Interlibrary Loan and other related services

Please hold onto any items you currently have in your possession.  We are working on extending due dates.

Remember:  you can contact us 24/7 with questions, and we will do our best to get back to you quickly.

Librarian Consultations

Subject librarians with expertise in specific areas are available for remote consultations via phone, email, or online (e.g. Zoom). Undergraduate students can schedule an appointment via MU Connect. Faculty and graduate students are encouraged to contact your subject librarian.
