History of MU Law School

The University of Missouri School of Law has a rich history.  To learn more about our school, you may want to read The Law Barn by Professor William Fratcher.  The Law Barn

Welcome

We are thrilled to welcome you to the University of Missouri Law School and we look forward to working with you!  We hope that you'll find the Library and the librarians to be welcoming and supportive for your research and teaching.

In this guide, we have compiled some of the information we share with faculty.  In it, you'll find information about the major research databases that the MU Law Library subscribes to as well as access information.  If it is helpful, please contact us for a personal tour of electronic resources.

Getting Around the Library

Where is it?

Finding the items you need in a new library is always a challenge.  On the library's webpage, you will find information about accessibility, and the library's hours. Honestly, though, you may not need to know the library hours because you will have 24 hour access with your University ID.

Who does what?

Sometimes it is nice to know who to ask. Your library liaison is always a great person to ask, but you can always ask at the Reference Desk, or use our webpage to see who does what at the MU Law Library.
