The Faculty Resources page offers information on teaching resources, research and scholarship.
We know how important efficient and effective research is to you. We are happy to train your research assistants in the use of the specialized resources you need them to be proficient with.
Do you have short term research project and need some highly capable student assitance? The Law Library manages the Shook Hardy & Bacon Research Assitant program providing a cadre of highly trained research assistants available on a first come- first served basis. Contact Cindy Shearrer at shearrerc@missouri.edu for more information.
Contact one of your Law Librarians to get best possible service. They will work with you to ensure that you know all the information resources at your disposal and they'll keep you up to speed on any books and databases that they think you will be interested in for your research.
Zoom is on every classroom computer for recording live classes to the cloud which can be posted to your Canvas course page.
Canvas is centrally supported (email contact: teachingonline@umsystem.edu). Documentation is available here.
The Course Bulletin Board is intended to facilitate course-related communications to your students in the days preceding the start of classes, and those first few days of class. It is not intended to replace the course web pages or course management systems that some of you use throughout the semester.
We typically post 4 types of information on our bulletin board:
• First Day Assignments
• Syllabus
• Course Web Page [If you let me know that you have such a page, I will provide a link to the service you’re using, and any instructions for the students regarding access to the page. You can, of course, provide any additional instructions for your students about the use of the page.]
• Course Related Information [brief announcements or information your students might need in the first days of class]
Please contact Jessica Longaker to post your course materials.
Request library materials and have them delivered right to your mailbox within 24 hours.
We want to highlight the scholarship of our faculty! If you choose, your publications will be included in the University of Missouri School of Law Scholarship Repository where they will be freely accessible online. Also, your publications will be listed on the MU Law School's Faculty Publications page. Work with a Librarian to keep this information up to date.
Many faculty members want to post research papers in progress on SSRN (Social Science Research Network), particularly in the Legal Scholarship Network. To get started with SSRN, contact Cindy Bassett at bassettcw@missouri.edu.
