To check for books on a company, go to our homepage, library.missouri.edu, select the tab "Books & More," and switch "Keyword" to "Subject."  Enter the name of your company and search.

You can also try a subject search for terms such as shoes or shoe industry - results will not be individual books, but more specific subject headings. If you find books on your industry, make sure are using current books.

In-depth reports on current trends and recent data on approximately 50 industries.  Brief reports on sub-industries are also available.  Click on "Industries" in the blue bar at the top.

IBISWorld
IBISWorld provides reports for all of the 723 industries in the United States only as categorized by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). IBISWorld research reports contain trends, statistics and analysis on market size, market share of competitors, and industry growth rates. Performance analysis includes emerging industry trends as well as recent production performance and 5 year forecasts.

Industry Information from the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration
ITA's Manufacturing and Services Unit pulls together information on industries designed to help the U.S. exporter.  You'll find reports on the automotive industry, airlines, financial services, etc.  Here's a link to a 2010 PDF report on the automotive industry.
