I would complete the Book Request form making certain that I filled in every line that was marked by a red asterisk. I would watch my email to see when the item arrived or for any questions the Interlibrary Loan staff might have about my request.

7. Another way that I can request items through Interlibrary Loan is by using WorldCat which includes holdings of libraries throughout the world. WorldCat is also a valuable tool in finding out about the range of materials that might be available on your topic. Go the libraries’ homepage and click A database. |

16. The ILL request form should have all the required fields, those with a red asterisk, populated when it appears as the next page. However, in this instance, the Author/Editor/Producer blank had not been completed by the system. When I tried to submit the form without this information, another form appeared with the omitted information bolded in red. I supplied the name of the author and the form was accepted. |
