Illustrated Civil War Newspapers and Magazines is a searchable database that houses a number of unique resources. You can find campaign newspapers for all presidential candidates of the era (Lincoln, Bell, Breckenridge, Douglas, & McClellan), newspapers sympathetic to the Confederacy, newspapers sympathetic to the Union, general newspapers, political satires, illustrated portraits of important historical figures, and Civil War Letters & Diaries.
