The MU Libraries' offer services and resources to assist MU students, faculty and staff in the acquisition of raw datasets for research. We maintain campus memberships in the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) and the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. We can also assist with identifying public use datasets available on the Internet.

Some sources of statistical data relating to education include:
The Archived International Data Table Library acquires, processes, documents, and disseminates data collected by national, state or provincial, local, and private organizations, pertaining to all levels of education in countries for which data can be made available.
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction, and offers training in quantitative methods to facilitate effective data use.
The National Center for Education Statistics is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.
The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research archives a collection of public opinion data. Their polls cover a range of social, business and policy issues.
