Google Scholar and Beyond: Interlibrary Loan

A guide for MU students to learn about library resources highlighted in the "Google Scholar and Beyond" workshop

Interlibrary Loan

The Libraries at the University of Missouri Columbia offer three different types of interlibrary loan options for patrons needing access specific resources. They are: The UM System, MOBIUS, and "Traditional" Interlibrary Loan

Understanding the Differences

The UM System

The University of Missouri (UM) System includes the collections available at the four campuses, as well as some access to off campus depositories. For students at University of Missouri Columbia (Mizzou or MU), please visit https://library.missouri.edu

Interlibrary Loan

The "Traditional" Interlibrary Loan (ILL) offers access to a wide array of resources from libraries around the world! If items/materials are not available in the UM System or MOBIUS, ILL is the next step for access. To request from ILL, please visit https://ill.mul.missouri.edu.

All current MU Affiliates (students, faculty, staff, and emeritus retirees) should have an ILL account made, please use your pawprint and password to log into your account.

For more information on ILL, please visit

MOBIUS
