There are many programs that will help you manage your references. In addition to EndNote, there is the References feature in Microsoft Word and competing software programs such as Zotero or Mendeley. MU's Division of Information Technology (DoIT) supports EndNote.
Zotero is a bibliographic manager software that collects, organizes and formats your citations. A competitor to EndNote, it's benefits are: it's free, it's portable across devices, it's pretty good at capturing webpages (e.g. CDC)
To download go to: https://www.zotero.org/
For more info & training videos, see: http://libraryguides.missouri.edu/zotero
EndNote is a software program that will let you collect & organize the citations that you find doing your research. EndNote also works with Microsoft Word to create your in-text citations and reference list. The MU Librarians provide one-on-one & group instruction on EndNote.
