ARTstor is a digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes. Partial funding was provided by the Student Fee Capital Improvement Committee.
CAMIO offers art images that are rights-cleared for educational use. There are about 95,000 art images—photographs, paintings, sculpture, decorative and utilitarian objects, prints, drawings and watercolors, jewelry and costumes, textiles and architecture—plus audio, video and mixed media.
The Index of Medieval Art supports the study of symbolism in art by providing descriptions and images of over 80,000 art objects in all media from the beginning of the Christian Era through the middle of the 16th century. It can be searched by artist, title, medium, subject, location, date, etc. The display of some images is restricted by copyright, but references to reproductions in books are provided.
