Figshare is a digital repository where users can make all of their research outputs available in a citable, shareable and discoverable manner.

What are the benefits of figshare?

  • 1GB of free storage space
  •  All objects on figshare have an associated DOI
  • DOI is tracked by the Altmetric company for mentions across social media, news sites, blogs and grey literature
  • All data is persistently stored online under the most liberal Creative Commons licence, waiving copyright where possible
