Find ERIC Documents

This guide will assist in locating ERIC Documents both in fiche and digital formats.
  • Online ERIC collection
    • ERIC, sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the US Department of Education,  has digitized  and made freely available online those documents without copyright restrictions. 
    • You can search ERIC online to see if the report you need is available.
  • ERIC microfiche collection in Ellis Library
    • Includes reports and documents relating to education published between 1966-2004
    • Contains ERIC document numbers lower than ED 483 046.  Check ERIC online for document numbers ED 482 046 and higher.
    • Located on the first floor of Ellis Library on the north side of the Government Documents collection.
    • Organized by the ERIC Document number.  You can find the ED  or Accession number in the citation from your search of the ERIC database.
    • If you have an EJ number, you are looking for a journal article. Use Journal Finder to locate the journal containing your article.
    • Digitizer/scanners are located in Special Collections4th floor, East Ellis Library.  Please make a appointment to use this equipment Reservation.
