Things they might want to find:
- Excess enthalpy
- Excess volume
- Phase diagram
- Presence of azeotropes / heterogeneous azeotropes (heteroazeotropes)
- Vapor pressures (saturation pressures)
- Activity coefficients / parameters for models thereof
- Enthalpies and free energies of formation [THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ONE!]
Most of this is geared toward their design and lab classes---they're learning what a lot of these terms /mean/ as part of my class.
