Fragmenta Manuscripta

Fragmenta Manuscripta is a collection of manuscript leaves and fragments dating from the 8th to the 17th century. It was originally put together by 17th-century book collector John Bagford. While the majority of the collection is taken from manuscripts of medieval authors, it does include leaves from medieval manuscripts of the following ancient authors:

  • Ambrose
  • Aristotle (?)
  • Augustine
  • Cassian
  • Cassiodorus
  • Galen
  • Justinian

The Fragmenta Manuscripta collection has been completely digitized.
