The Commons

The University Libraries Digital Media Commons is a combination of areas in Ellis that support creating and using multimedia for your projects, education, and creativity. There are 22 Apple iMacs located in the Digital Media Commons Lab with editing software installed. 2E21 and 3E21 are the Green Screen rooms, each with a green screen wall for project work.

For filming and photography in the Green Screen rooms, we also provide equipment at the circulation desk. For design and editing, you can get access to digital resources like Photoshop and Dreamweaver that are locally installed for lightning-fast creation and editing at our computer workstations.

Green Screen Rooms

Green Screen

The Green screen rooms at 2E21 on the second floor and 3E21 on the third floor can be your own personal space for video and photo creation. The rooms have one green screen wall, tables and chairs, and their own adjustable lighting that you can check out at the Circulation Desk.

To learn how to get to the rooms, watch our quick video on directions to 2E21 and directions to 3E21. When you want to check out the lighting equipment and cameras for your project, all you need is your Student ID.
