The University Libraries Digital Media Commons is a combination of areas in Ellis that support creating and using multimedia for your projects, education, and creativity. There are 22 Apple iMacs located in the Digital Media Commons with editing software installed. The Digital Media Lab is located in Room 156 in Ellis Library. It provides a recording booth (WhisperRoom) with various software; a film studio with a camera and green screen; and a 3D scanner (Structure Sensor). The primary purpose for the lab is for librarians to create teaching and learning material. These resources are also available to students, by appointment, for educational purposes. Students can request an appointment to use these resources using the links at the bottom of each resource.
