Guide to setting up Endnote for Mac

Configure Endnote

When you first begin using EndNote, you first need to create an EndNote Library and then need configure EndNote to download PDFs.

1. Open “EndNote X7” and select PREFERENCES.)

2. On the left side, choose “Find Full Text.”

3. Make sure that all of the options are checked.

Add Cite While You Write Toolbar to Word

To add the Cite While You Write toolbar to Word. In EndNote, open the Endnote X7 pulldown and select CUSTOMIZER.

When that loads, check the top box Cite While You Write if it is not already checked, and then click next at the bottom of the window. If the toolbar does not load, it is most like a compatibility problem. Use the links below to see which versions of EndNote, Word, and OS, are compatible.
