Duplex Printing: Instructions

How to print double-sided at the MU Libraries

Using the Windows Thin and Zero Clients

Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Under File, select Print
  • In the dropdown menu under "Settings," click on "Print one sided" and choose "Print on both sides."
  • Click the Print icon in the upper left corner

Firefox 20

  • Click File, then choose Print.
  • Select your printer and click on the "Properties" next to the dropdown menu.
  • Select "Eco Print (Two-Sided Printing)" then click OK.
  • Click the OK button.

Internet Explorer 9

  • Click File, then choose Print.
  • Select your printer and click on the Preferences button.
  • Select "Eco Print (Two-Sided Printing)" then click OK.
  • Click the Print button

Adobe Reader XI

  • Click File, then choose Print.
  • Select your printer and click on the "Properties" next to the dropdown menu.
  • Select "Eco Print (Two-Sided Printing)" then click OK.
  • Click the Print button

Using the Macs

Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Click on File on the toolbar and select Print.
  • Under Presets, click on the dropdown that says "Copies and Pages" and select "Layout."
  • Change "Two Sided" from Off to either Long-Edge or Short-Edge binding.
  • Click the Print button.

Firefox 14

  • Click on File on the toolbar and select Print.
  • If the print options aren't displayed, click on the button next to the printer dropdown to expand.
  • Click on the checkbox for Two-Sided.
  • Click the Print button.

Safari 5

  • Click on File on the toolbar and select Print.
  • If the print options aren't displayed, click on the button next to the printer dropdown to expand.
  • Click on the checkbox for Two-Sided.
  • Click the Print button.

Adobe Reader X

  • Click on File on the toolbar and select Print.
  • Check the box next to "Print on Both Sides of Paper."
  • Click the Print button.
