Accessing library resources from off-campus
- Your username (MU email username and password) is all that is needed to access resources from off-campus.
- If you are using a commercial Internet Service Provider (e.g., Mediacom, AOL, DSL, etc.), go to the MU Libraries' database pages, click on a link, and you will be asked to login with your username.
- You can download the Virtual Private Networking
client at no charge from the Division of Information Technology (DoIT).
The VPN allows you to access the MU network with an outside Internet
Service Provider. This option is recommended since it eliminates the
necessity of typing in your username to access journals and databases
