Apply for an A&OER Grant

The A&OER Grant Program encourages faculty experimentation and innovation in finding new, better, and less costly ways to deliver learning materials to their students than traditional textbooks and other educational resources. Specifically, the grant program recognizes and encourages faculty and instructors who commit to the creation, adaption, adoption, and review of A&OER.

Your Campus Committee - A&OER Campus Task Force

The UM System Affordable & Open Educational Resources (A&OER) initiative is working to enhance the use of affordable and open educational resources at the university. Our campus has formed its own A&OER committee to support this system initiative.

The MU campus A&OER task force is working to

  • Build awareness around the initiative throughout campus through determining communication channels and conducting outreach
  • Identify existing and implementing new tools, resources, and processes to sustain the initiative
  • Identify and execute recognition for those who participate in the initiative
