Publish in PNAS?

MU researchers publishing articles in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences) receive a discounted open access fee of $1,000, compared to the regular fee of $1,350, to make their papers immediately free online.

Publish in ACS Journals?

The American Chemical Society offers a discounted open access fee to MU affiliates since MU is a Subscribing Institution. Members of ACS receive an additional discount.   ACS Open Access Fee Chart 

Publish in ECS Journals?

The Electrochemical Society (ECS) – MU is a subscriber to ECS Plus, a scheme which allows MU faculty to publish their articles in ECS journals (Journal of the Electrochemical Society and ECS Journal of Solid State Science and Technology) as Open Access with no charge to the author. There are no limits on the number of papers that can be published in any given subscription year. Find out more

Publish in Water Environment Research?

Water Environment Research is now offering the option of open-access. Authors who opt to have their article available as open-access may do so by paying an open-access fee of $1400. Because MU subscribes to WER, this OA fee is waived. Find out more.
