Much of Library Science collection can be found within the LC call number range of "Z" and "ZA."  For more specific LC call numbers, search the Library of Congress Classification Outline, or the Library of Congress Authorities.  Here are the very basics:

  • MERLIN: Books/physical materials at the University of Missouri
    Use the Merlin catalog to locate books and journals in MU Libraries and at other University of Missouri Libraries. Materials can be requested online from other UM Libraries.
  • MOBIUS: Books from other Missouri academic and public libraries
    Search most of the academic libraries in the state of Missouri. Materials can be requested online and delivered to MU Libraries, or directly to distance learning students.
  • WorldCat: Search across USA
    Search the holding of libraries throughout the United States for books, videos, scores, and manuscripts. Materials which are not owned by Mobius (Missouri) libraries, can be requested through Interlibrary Loan.
