MOspace is the digital institutional repository for scholarly work and resources created by faculty, staff and students at the University of Missouri. MOspace makes created knowledge and research products from UM available to the wider community of researchers and students and assures preservation of these materials for the future.

New MOspace (December 2025)

NEW! The MOspace repository has gotten a facelift and performance boost! We have migrated to a new server and look forward to providing an enhanced user experience for our MOspace community! New features and improvements include:

  • increased performance, reliability, and stability (faster page loads, no timeouts)
  • streamlined deposit process and submission management
  • improved metadata display
  • item statistics

and even more to come with future platform updates!

IMPORTANT: old direct links containing '/xmlui' in the address do not currently work. Remove that part of the URL if you click an outdated link and get a 404 error page.

  • crawled by Google, GoogleScholar, and more

MOspace also provides you with a persistent (i.e. permanent) URL so you can cite it in perpetuity, with no worries about access.

Authors retain copyright to any item deposited in MOspace; the required license for deposit into MOspace acknowledges your rights as the copyright owner.  If your work has already been published, MOspace staff will check the publisher's policies for deposit into MOspace for you.
