Plan Ahead: Requesting Materials

Don't wait until the last minute to gather your research materials! It will take at least a couple of days to get items from MOBIUS libraries, and if you need to request items via Interlibrary Loan, it can take a bit longer if the item is being shipped from a distant locale. The Libraries cannot guarantee that an item will arrive by a specific date, so it is always best to give yourself as much of a time-window as possible.

Finals Week Events at the Libraries

Therapy Animals

Did you know that petting an animal can help relieve stress? During finals week, therapy dogs will be available in Ellis Library!

Dates and Times TBD - check or @MULibraries on Twitter for updates!

Coloring Books

During finals week, coloring books and colored pencils will be available at Ellis Library, in the colonnade (map), at the Engineering Library, and at the Journalism Library. Stop by one of these locations during finals to color your stress away!

The Journalism Library will have legos out on the tables during finals week. All Mizzou students are welcome to stop by for a study break (or study session)!

Board Games

In addition to coloring books, the Engineering Library will have board games out during finals week. Stop by to recharge with a game of Chinese Checkers, Blokus, or Konexi!

Ellis Study Spaces

During finals week, study spaces in the upper levels of Ellis Library will remain open after Midnight. Room 213 will also be open as an additional space for quiet, individual study.
