The MERLIN catalog shows materials in the MU Libraries.
The MOBIUS catalog shows materials from Missouri academic libraries.
WorldCat shows materials from many libraries worldwide.
Google Book Search searches the full text of many, many books. It often allows you to preview parts of the books and links to the catalog so you can see if the library has the book.
The Hathi Trust Digital Library also searches teh full text of millions of books, but allows viewing of only books in the public domain, generally published before 1923.
This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

IMB covers all subjects pertaining to the European Middle Ages, covering Europe, the Middle East and North Africa in the period 400-1500. The database includes over 300,000 articles from about 4500 periodicals and 5000 volumes of conference proceedings, essay collections, Festschriften and exhibition catalogues in many languages.
